Cobb County, Georgia

Christmas lights in Smyrna, close to the street, measured house by house.

Older streets, newer neighborhoods and townhomes: every Smyrna address is covered, and here is how the price works there.

Service area

Smyrna neighborhoods we cover.

Smyrna is two towns built on top of each other. The older streets, Williams Park and Smyrna Heights and the blocks around them, are smaller houses on tighter lots with a lot of character in the rooflines. Around them sit newer neighborhoods, Village of Belmont among them, built within the last decade.

Both kinds of house sit close to the street, which is good news for lights: you see the whole roofline from the sidewalk, so every foot you light is a foot people see. It also means the measurement matters, because on a tall front the vertical runs add up faster than you would expect.

Smyrna calls itself the Jonquil City. Its downtown is Market Village and the Village Green on Atlanta Road, and Spring Road, Concord Road and South Cobb Drive carry most of the rest of town. The Silver Comet Trail starts on the west side, and Vinings sits to the east toward the river. Whichever of those roads you live closest to is worth typing beside your neighborhood name; that is how somebody finds a townhome row or a bungalow street without circling the block.

The price

The same rate per foot across Smyrna.

Bennett Woods pays the same rate as Vinings Estates. On a tall, narrow front, the footage you end up lighting is rarely what it looks like from the curb, so it gets measured.

The work

What we can show you.

Real installs by Carter's crews, shot at night. None is labelled with a town.

Questions

Asked in Smyrna.

We are right on the Smyrna and Vinings line. Are we in?
Yes. Smyrna and Vinings are both in Cobb County, and the whole county is in our service area. If your address is in Cobb, you are in.
We have a townhome. Is it worth doing just ours?
Yes. You pay by the foot, so a townhome front is a short run and priced that way. If the neighbors on either side want theirs done too, say so when you book, so the fronts in that row can go on one route.
Ours is one of the old bungalows near Williams Park. Is it too small to bother?
Not at all. You pay by the foot, so a short roofline is priced as a short roofline. On a bungalow the porch line often matters as much as the roof, and the measurement is where you decide whether it goes in.
