Cherokee County, Georgia

Christmas lights in Canton, from BridgeMill to Great Sky.

Canton is the county seat of Cherokee, and we take bookings from every Canton address in the county. Here are its neighborhoods, and how a Canton roofline gets priced.

Service area

Canton neighborhoods we cover.

Canton covers a lot of different ground. BridgeMill and Laurel Canyon are big, established communities with long, wide fronts. Great Sky and River Green are newer neighborhoods with a different kind of house again. Toward Lake Allatoona the lots open up, and a house is seen from the road at a distance.

That spread is why a Canton house gets measured before anyone puts a number on it. A front that looks modest from the driveway can turn out to be a long run once the garage and the porch are counted, and one that looks enormous can be simpler than it seems.

The town sits on the Etowah River, with the old downtown along Main Street and the newer shopping strung out along Riverstone Parkway. I-575 carries most people in from the south, and Great Sky lies out east along Highway 20. Canton covers a lot of ground, so when you book, name the road you turn off, or the nearest landmark. It is the detail that gets a measuring visit to the right driveway the first time.

The price

The same rate per foot across Canton.

BridgeMill pays the same rate as Great Sky. Your number comes from the length of roofline you want lit, taken with a tape at the house, not looked up by neighborhood.

The work

What we can show you.

Real installs by Carter's crews, shot at night. None is labelled with a town.

Questions

Asked in Canton.

Is Canton too far north for you?
No. We serve all of Cherokee County, county seat included. Further north still, we run as far as Chattanooga, quoting each of those longer trips case by case.
Our house sits a long way back from the road. Do we light all of it?
Only the parts the road sees. Billing is per foot, so on a deep lot the sensible answer is usually the lines that face the road, and the rest stays dark. Picking those lines happens at the measurement.
We are in Great Sky and the house is all on one level. Is it worth doing?
A one-level front sits at eye height from the street, so none of it is wasted, and the bill covers only the feet that get lit. Whether the porch or the garage goes in with the roofline is your call at the measurement.
