Cobb County, Georgia

Christmas lights in Mableton, from mid-century ranches to this year’s new builds.

Mableton sits in Cobb County, and Cobb is covered border to border, Nickajack Creek down to the Chattahoochee. Here are its neighborhoods, and how a Mableton roofline turns into a number.

Service area

Mableton neighborhoods we cover.

The subdivisions on this page span about forty years. Glenleigh went up in the late 1980s and Liberty Woods in the early 2000s, while Peacock Park, Escalades and Willowcrest were built after 2018 and Avenbrook is newer still. Those are different houses with different rooflines, sometimes only a few minutes apart.

That spread is the reason a neighbor’s number tells you nothing about yours. An older house tends to run its eaves in long straight lines; a recent build stacks gables, a porch roof and a garage at three heights. Both are priced the same way, foot by foot, and the feet only come from measuring.

The town is named for Robert Mable, who farmed here from 1843; his house still stands on Floyd Road just north of Clay Road, off Veterans Memorial Highway (US 78), with an amphitheater beside it. Floyd Road ties most of Mableton together: the Silver Comet Trail crosses it, and it meets the East-West Connector. Nickajack Creek marks the northern edge toward Smyrna, the Chattahoochee forms the southeast border with Fulton County, and Austell lies to the west. Mableton was a chartered town from 1912 to 1916 and became a city again in 2023. When you book, name the nearest of Floyd Road, Veterans Memorial or the East-West Connector; it tells whoever measures which way to come in.

The price

The same rate per foot across Mableton.

Avenbrook pays the same rate per foot as Glenleigh. A long, low ranch from the eighties and a tall new two-story come to very different lengths of roofline, so the tape at your house sets the footage, not the age of the street.

The work

What we can show you.

Real installs by Carter's crews, shot at night. None is labelled with a town.

Questions

Asked in Mableton.

Mableton only became a city in 2023. Does that change whether you come out?
No. We go by county, and Mableton is in Cobb, which we serve whole. Inside the new city limits or just outside them, a Cobb address is in.
Our back yard runs along the Silver Comet. Is a house on the trail still inside your Mableton coverage?
Yes. Through Mableton the trail never leaves Cobb, and Cobb is covered border to border, so a lot that backs onto it is in like any neighbor on the street. The price works the same way: by the linear foot of whatever roofline gets lit.
Do we get a separate bill when the lights come down?
No. The January takedown is on the same invoice as the install, so nothing new arrives after the holidays.
